Within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a special investment contract (SPIC) was signed on the implementation of a project for the construction of formaldehyde and paraformaldehyde industrial plants in Gubakha. The agreement was concluded between the Perm Territory and PJSC Metafrax for a period of 9 years
April – June 2019
Subsidiary of PJSC Metafrax, Metadynea Trading SA changed its name to Metafrax Trading International SA and also moved from Geneva to Lugano. The renaming took place within the framework of the rebranding procedure implemented by the Metafrax group. Metafrax Trading International (MFTI) has become the leader in this project

Revenue of PJSC Metafrax for 6 months of 2019 reached 13 billion 160 million rubles, 7% higher than in 2018. The budget plan for the production of marketable products was exceeded by 545 million rubles or more than 4%. For the first half of 2019, commercial products were produced in the amount of 13 billion 639 million rubles: this is 1 billion 156 million rubles, or 9.3%, higher than the corresponding figure for the last year. The share of methanol in the total volume of marketable products was 55%. The share of exports in sales was 43%

PJSC Metafrax began to introduce a new brand. Large-scale work on its creation took a year and a half. The name of LLC Trading House Metafrax was changed to LLC Metafrax Trading. Within the framework of the Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum, a Roadmap for interaction between PJSC Metafrax and the industrial complex of the Perm region was signed. The roadmap will be implemented in 2019–2020. The roadmap measures will improve the efficiency and establish transparency of access procedures for industrial and scientific and technical products, as well as services of organizations of the Perm region in the interests of PJSC Metafrax, to involve them in the implementation of the import substitution policy and to master the production of new high-tech equipment. It is expected that as a result of the implementation of the roadmap, the share of high-tech products of regional production used at the facilities of PJSC Metafrax will increase, as well as, due to the company's high requirements, its quality will increase.
