On the production for the first time in USSR was developed a way to use the coke gas for methanol synthesis

First silica gel received

Trial batch of raw methanol received

Marketable rectified methanol production started

Central laboratory was created: for scientific and development work

Operation started for the first treatment units

Started new big production of methylamines: acids required for propellant (facility 858). The facility had military importance. First batched of the product was received in June of the same year

The enterprise employees for the first time won a social competition between the enterprise plants. For the successful performance of seven years plan enterprise employees received transferable Red banner

Formaldehyde production was created

Created first in the country industrial unit for production of caprolon. Formaldehyde and color oil paints production started
