Corporate communications: what connects us
A conference and awarding ceremony for the winners of the annual national corporate media competition "Silver Threads" took place in Moscow.
"Metafrax Chemicals" company has repeatedly become the winner and prize-winner of this professional competition over the years. This year, Mariya Konovalova, Director of Strategic Communications of JSC Metafrax Chemicals, took part in the forum as an expert and ambassador of the Silver Threads brand.
In 2024, experts evaluated 170 projects aimed at the national competition, and at least half of them were from companies that had not previously participated in the competition. At the final stage, 80 projects from 25 cities were presented in 22 different categories of the competition. In the main nominations, the winners were the integrated project "Legendary Coke: celebrating the 100th anniversary of the plant" from PJSC "Coke" (Moscow Kemerovo) and the integrated project "Movement: Goals, principles, tools and results" from JSC Gazprombank ( Moscow).
The winners of the competition included our colleagues from the company, also part of the holding "Ruschem" - JSC Bashkir Soda Company ( Sterlitamak, Republic of Bashkortostan). The company won the nomination "The best corporate magazine". In addition, BSK took second place in two more nominations – "The best publishing project. Corporate book" and "The best corporate account on social networks – VKontakte". Mariya Konovalova presented the awards to the representatives of BSK and congratulated her colleagues on their successful performance at the professional competition.
The national corporate media conference "Silver Threads" was held at the end of the event. The central event was the plenary discussion "Corporate Communications 2030. The role of corporate information support in economic development", as well as a Q&A session with corporate communications leaders. The plenary discussion was held at the site of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
– Many of the meanings discussed at the conference really reflect the profound changes taking place in the field of corporate communications, - said Mariya Konovalova. – This concerns not only the growing role of communications in the development of the economy and society in critical epochs, but also the need to form a strategy and integrate communicators within the company into a single convergent team, as well as maximize the use of the entire range of rapidly developing channels and technologies.
