"Metafrax" summed up the production results for 2020. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, most indicators were higher than planned and the implementation continued for all active investment projects.

Last year, the output of commercial products reached 19.7 billion rubles. The volume of shipped products exceeded 19.8 billion rubles. The following chemicals were produced: 1 154 thousand tons of methanol, 230 thousand tons of formalin, 182 thousand tons of UFC, 23.7 thousand tons of pentaerythritol, 30 thousand tons of hexamine and 12.4 thousand tons of sodium formate.

According to Vladimir Daut, General Director of "Metafrax", the company positively assesses the production results of the year. Despite the negative impact of the pandemic and a slight decline in production for some products, in general, the year was successful for the company: production meets the plan for almost the entire range. "Our efforts were aimed at the fulfilment of budget targets and the increase in the volume of output. As well as to intensify marketing work on all types of products for their full implementation in the domestic and foreign markets. In addition to our main production activities, we focused on the construction of the "Ammonia-Urea-Melamine" complex. The implementation of the project is entering the final stage. The readiness of the complex's facilities ranges from 85 to 100%", - said Vladimir Daut.

In 2021, "Metafrax" plans to produce 1 170 thousand tons of methanol, 231 thousand tons of formalin, 185 thousand tons of UFC, 23 thousand tons of pentaerythritol, 30 thousand tons of hexamine and 11.5 thousand tons of sodium formate. "The production plan for this year is comparable to the plan for 2020. 2021 will be an important stage in the implementation of the company's investment projects. It is necessary to complete the construction of the "Ammonia-Urea-Melamine" complex and continue the implementation of other investment projects of the company", - concluded Vladimir Daut.
