The way to the pinnacle of mastery
On March 15th, at the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC), the future process plant operators, chemical analysis laboratory assistants, repair fitters, welders and chefs competed in mastery and professional skills.
The professional mastery competition was held as part of the "Professionalitet" federal project. "Metafrax Chemicals" JSC is the main partner of the college in the project.
38 students from different courses of UCTC participated in the competitions. They had to pass the theory and practice stages in each professional competence. The results of task execution at sites were judged by teachers of the college, who acted as experts.
The best in the "Process plant operator" profession were Danil Mayatnikov, Egor Karagodin and Yaroslav Sudarenko. The highest results among the future laboratory assistants were shown by Anastasia Rogova, Maria Sharko and Vladislav Dyadyushchenko.
Nikolay Kagelev, Kirill Merkushev and Kirill Zuev stood out among the repair fitters. Nikita Sidorov, Vladislav Shchelkonogov and Leonid Ivanov became the best among the welders.
In two groups of chefs (the professions of "pastry chef" and "chef") the winners were Sergey Chetverkov, Aleksandr Barmin, Anton Kukhta as well as Elizaveta Karpovich, Danil Gladkikh, Evgeny Matveev and Nadezhda Limonova.
- The professional mastery competitions are an important part of the educational process. This year, as part of the "Professionalitet" project, we have combined all professions as part of one Professional Mastery Day. These kinds of competitions allow students to improve their skills and help in professional start-up of future specialists, - shared Mikhail Voroshilov, the Deputy Director of UCTC.
New challenges await the competition leaders in April. The future operators, laboratory assistants, welders and repair fitters will try their hand in traditional professional mastery competitions among the employees of "Metafrax Chemicals".
