Museum of Success History opened at “Metafrax”

On the 5th of February a renovated museum of "Metafrax" opened its doors to visitors. This event was the first in the program of company's 20th anniversary celebration.

Works on the new museum were done in more than seven months. Authors of its concept faced a difficult task to make the museum comprehensible and interesting for different audiences. Today corporate museums are an important part of the world's museum process.

The main idea of the project is the creation of a museum of success and victories of the company, which were achieved by our chemists in very difficult times. The author of decorative design was a Russian designer Eric Belousov ("Zoloto Design Grupp", Moscow).

The museum's visitors can get acquainted with the company's current situation, products it produces and learn the history of its foundation and sphere of activity. The very simple things around us, such as furniture or cosmetics, have products of organic chemistry in their content.

In the renovated museum there is a dynamically lit miniature of the company, a unique holographic screen which allows visitors to see a virtual "chemical lab" working. This is the first time in the Krai when such equipment is used in a museum.

There are many multimedia components and interactive information panels which let people get the information they need. The use of modern equipment allows making easy additions to the museum without complete reconstruction. There is also a "classic" sector in the museum where one can find memorable books and albums, awards, diplomas and much more.

The new museum of "Metafrax" is waiting for visitors who are certainly going to come a lot this year.

-The museum is made for very different audiences. There will be excursions for veterans and current employees of the company, high school students and special guests. Of course, any citizen of Gubakha and neighbouring areas will be able to visit our museum as well, - said our General Manager Vladimir Daut.
