A musical theatre about school, family and self-searching

A musical theatre about school, family and self-searching

On Saturday, June 29, the opening of the XIII theatrical landscape festival "Secrets of the Krestovaya Mountain" will take place in Gubakha on the Rudyansky mountain range. The Perm Academic Theater, a theater that has repeatedly participated in the festival, including the traditionally opening project "Sunset onthe Krestovaya mountain", will present its performance – the musical "Good Luck, Mark!" to residents and guests of the town.

In the Year of the Family, the musical performance "Good Luck, Mark!" raises many topics: school bullying, child-parent relations, family conflicts, self-searching.

- This is a very emotional, sincere story that will touch both children and parents. It isabout human values, about truth and lies, about strength and weakness. About how important it is to become a leader not of some school, but of your own life," says the director of the performance,Alexey Kriklyy.

The musical material written by the composer Olga Shaidullina is motley, like a playlist of a modern teenager: classical and pop coexist with rock, hip-hop and rap. The author of the libretto is Nikita Ryazansky, the musical director of the performance is Evgenia Prozorova.

The theatrical landscape festival "Secrets of the Krestovaya Mountain" will be held with the support of Metafrax Chemicals, JSC and the government of the Perm Region from June, 28 to July, 3 in Gubakha. The organizer of the festival is the chamber drama theater "Dominanta".

Eight theaters from Gubakha, Berezniki, Perm, Chelyabinsk, Astrakhan and Yerevan (Armenia) will present ten creative projects at various festival venues - Krestovaya Mountain, locations of the abandoned mining ghost town of Verkhnyaya Gubakha and the all-season resort "Gubakha".

Tickets for the festival performances are available on the website of the Dominanta Theater: link.
