Team Success at the Chemfest
As part of the Ruschem team, Employees of Metafrax Chemicals and Metadynea participated in the annual sports festival of Russian chemists: Chemfest 2024. Among the leaders of the competition is Denis Kazakov, an employee of Metafrax Chemicals, who won a silver medal in the 1 km race.
This year, the Chemfest 2024 sports festival has gathered hundreds of employees of chemical enterprises from all over the country. The team of the largest chemical holding Ruschem was represented by several dozen plant workers from the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Volgograd Region, Moscow, the Altai Territory, the Perm Territory, and enterprises in the south of Russia.The athletes showed their strength in team and individual disciplines, making a worthy competition to other Khimfest participants.
With success, the Ruschem team overcame a distance of 1 km, competed in the GTO (Ready for Labor and Defence) relay race, coped with orienteering, mas-wrestling, darts and fun run races, beat rivals in chess and backgammon.

Employees of the holding companies performed brilliantly in several disciplines at once. Dmitry Rakhkonen entered the top three winners of the Khimfest in mas-wrestling. The athletes of the holding also took the lead. Elmira Samigullina and Denis Kazakov won silver medals in the 1 km race.
"My colleague Anastasia Surenkova and I took part in Chemfest for the first time. We competed in the GTO relay race, darts, ring toss and 1000 meters race. I am very glad that we managed to win a prize. The main task of the trip was fulfilled. But besides the sports component there was a lot to do there: there were games, thematic activities from different enterprises of the industry, and new acquaintances. By the way, we met our colleagues from Orekhovo-Zuevo. We recognized each other by the Metafrax logo. We had a great conversation and took a photo together," Denis Kazakov shared his impressions of Chemfest.

The development of sports, the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture are issues under special attention of Ruschem. One of the priorities of the holding's social policy is the development of corporate sports. A large part of the charity program of Ruschem is also the holding of large-scale urban and regional half marathons, sports festivals and competitions.
