"Chemistry of Art" - at the All-Russian Museum Olympus
The winners of the All-Russian competition "Museum Olympus-2024" were awarded at the Gatchina Museum-Reserve in the Leningrad Region. The victory in the nomination "Museum for Children" was won by the joint project of the Perm Art Gallery and the company "Metafrax Chemicals" "Chemistry of Art".
As part of the project, starting in 2020, a series of exhibitions for a family audience dedicated to various types of art, including painting, sculpture, graphics, architecture and icons, was held in Perm and the cities of the Kama region. All the presented expositions were united by one idea – to tell about art simply, but without simplification, visually and fascinatingly, with care for the visitor, regardless of his age, knowledge and spectator experience. The authors of the project are museum teachers Ksenia Zubakina, Evgenia Naimushina and Artyom Kutergin.
- Thanks to everyone who made this educational project happen. It is really important, because thanks to the exhibitions of the Chemistry of Art, children and adults not only learn the secrets of the creative "cuisine" of the masters, but also see by example how art and science are inextricably linked, - said Mariya Konovalova, Director of Strategic Communications at JSC Metafrax Chemicals, - I am glad that our experience is already known in other regions. I hope that thanks to the victory at the Museum Olympus, it will become even more in demand.
The management of the Ruschem Holding and the Metafrax Chemicals company decided to further support the Chemistry of Art project. The next exhibition of the Perm Art Gallery will be opened in December 2024 at the site of the Gubakha Museum of Local History. Details about the theme and features of the exhibition will be known later.
