Melamine is a priority for Russian consumers

Albert Khudaibirdin, Managing Director for Production of JSC Metafrax Chemicals, approved an order on implementation of the company's sales policy regarding the sale of melamine.

The document defines the principles and procedure for the sale of this product on the territory of the Russian Federation and is aimed at domestic consumers.

Oleg Mamayev, Director for Commercial Affairs of JSC Metafrax Chemicals:

“The purpose of the sales policy regarding the sale of melamine is to ensure a predictable equilibrium price for raw materials related to chipboard manufacturers. We’re creating conditions under which domestic melamine consumers will be able not only to receive melamine of consistently high quality, but also to purchase it within the framework of objective pricing, which gives a high potential for the sale of manufactured products, including the export sector.”

The policy defines the specifics of the sale for goods and the basic rules of pricing, including the conditions for applying the discount system. The document will be implemented on October 1, 2024. This period is determined based on the need for a phased transition for consumers working under existing contracts, their familiarization with the new rules for the purchase of melamine and the formation of the most comfortable environment for all participants in the supply chain.
