In 2016, Metafrax Will Channel More Than Five Billion Roubles For Its Investment Projects

This year, Metafrax intends to finish its two projects: the second stage of the methanol unit revamping, upgrading it to capacity of up to 3375 tons per day, and construction of the 55 percent formalin unit with capacity of 90 thousand ton per year.

• The 55 percent formalin unit construction costs 800 million roubles, and the methanol unit revamping cost is estimated to be 2.5 billion roubles. – Said Nikolay Ilukhin, Deputy General Director for Technical Development of the company. – Significant amount of money will also be channelled to update the railway-yard of the company.

Besides, currently, the company is ready to sign the contract for the paraform unit construction project, all technical questions of the project are explored. The preliminary term of its realization is two years from the contract conclusion moment.

The projects are realized in the framework of the JSC Metafrax Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Development Program for the period from 2015 to 2020.
