Strengthening Ties

On August 28, representatives of EuroChem - Usolsky Potash Complex, LLC had a working visit to Metafrax Chemicals.

Yelena Bolotova, Head of the HR Department, and Sergei Kuzivanov, Head of the Personnel Education and Training Sector, took part in the event from our company.

The main part of the meeting was a roundtable discussion of Metafrax's established practices in the process of implementing educational activities, professional development and personnel training programs, internships and mentoring systems as well as the transfer of positive experience of working with young specialists, early career guidance, training of school graduates in secondary vocational educational and higher educational institutions and attracting potential employees to the enterprise. Representatives of the Personnel Assessment, Training and Development Department of EuroChem - Usolsky Potash Complex, LLC also shared their experience and knowledge.

Yelena Bolotova:

“We have common problems with colleagues from EuroChem - Usolsky Potash Complex, LLC regarding the shortage of personnel, the training of qualified workers, and the attraction and retention of young specialists at the enterprise. We shared our experience and search for solutions, and in response we learned what practices are used by our colleagues, what works and what doesn’t work. Such meetings are useful for both sides. We received an invitation to visit the EuroChem production site in Berezniki. We’re planning a return visit in the near future."

In the second part, Sergei Kuzivanov organized a sightseeing tour to the production site, the training center and the company museum, where colleagues were able to get acquainted with the chemical enterprise, production technology, product line and history of the largest producer of methanol and its derivatives. At the end of the tour, the delegation visited the Ammonia-Urea-Melamine complex: the central control room and the prilling tower of the urea plant.

One of the important points was also a visit of the basic educational institution for Metafrax Chemicals: the Ural Chemical Technology College (UСТС). Colleagues from Berezniki visited the sites of the multifunctional center and got acquainted with the modern facilities and resources.
