The social sphere of Gubakha continues to be updated

During a business trip to Gubakha municipal district, Dmitry Makhonin, Governor of the Perm Territory, together with members of the Legislative Assembly of the region Armen Garslyan, Maria Konovalova and Alexei Mazlov, assessed the renovation of social infrastructure facilities in Gubakha.

The first point of the visit was a kindergarten, which is being built in Gubakha on Sverdlov Avenue. The need for new places in preschool institutions was caused by the construction of eight nine-storey buildings for employees of the enterprise in the Khimik neighborhood as part of an investment project to create a new production facility: the Ammonia-Urea-Melamine (AUM) complex. Facade work is currently being completed in the 120-seat building, and its own boiler room is ready. Internal finishing works and installation of utilities are ongoing. According to Nikolai Lazeikin, Head of Gubakha district, it’s planned to open the kindergarten this year.

The branch of the City Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Gubakha, which was also visited by Governor and the deputies, is undergoing full repair. Preparation works are ongoing on the 7th and 8th floors in the seven–storey building of the clinic for adults, redevelopment design of premises is being developed, the completion date is 2025. The renovation of the two-storey building of the clinic for children is planned to be completed this year. We’d like to remind you that in January 2024, a new clinic for 120 visits per shift was put into operation in the village of Ugleuralsky settlement of Gubakha municipal district.

A comprehensive discussion of further plans for the implementation of the “Professionalitet” federal project in the Kama region took place at the site of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC). Thanks to the institution's victory in this project, an educational and production center (cluster) of the chemical industry has been opened here.

Financed from the federal grant, funds from the regional government and the main employer of JSC Metafrax Chemicals, workshops, laboratories and classrooms in the UCTC are equipped with the necessary educational and production equipment, benches, models and computer simulators.

In 2024, the renovation of the college will continue: current refurbishment of staircases in the building of theoretical classes and in the household building, power supply and electric lighting systems, indoor and outdoor lighting, facades in the household building, educational and production workshops and other works are foreseen. The next step is the construction of a new dormitory for students.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, Dmitry Makhonin noted that the interaction of JSC Metafrax Chemicals and the UCTC is one of the examples of successful joint work on personnel training for enterprises of the Perm Territory. The Governor emphasized that today it’s important to focus on secondary vocational education, based on the regional industry needs.

“With the support of the Federation, five educational and industrial clusters have already been organized in the Kama region with industrial partners. Starting from the new academic year, we are opening five more.”

Armen Garslyan, member of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, First Deputy Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia Party:

Our dreams come true thanks to the close cooperation between the town-forming enterprise Metafrax Chemicals, local and regional authorities with the personal participation of Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin and the deputy corps. Step by step, we’re doing everything possible to improve the quality of life for people, and not only in Gubakha, but also in other parts of the Kizel Coal Basin.
