Gubakha schoolchildren delved into the world of chemistry

On January 30, Metafrax Chemicals took part in the vocational guidance forum "City of Professions" for Gubakha schoolchildren. The event was held in the Central Library of the town.

The children 8-9 classes of secondary schools met at the forum with an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a journalist, an architect, a doctor, a librarian, as well as representatives of Metafrax, who introduced the children to the world of chemistry. The children not only learned about the specifics of work in each of the professions presented, but also performed practical tasks.

At the Metafrax stand, the company's career guidance specialist Kristina Pirogova spoke on the professions that are involved in the production process, on the working conditions at the enterprise for young specialists as well as on the training opportunities in promising areas with the support of the enterprise. Egor Karagodin, a student of the Urals Chemical Engineering College, shared information on the college, the federal project "Professionalitet", in which this College participates, demonstrated chemical experiments.

– The format of the event is very important for the younger generation, in order to shape their future. It allows everyone to discover something new, interesting and, perhaps, make decision on the further direction of learning. The Forum is valuable due to the interactivity of the platforms, that excludes boring, forgettable lectures and promotes the participation of everyone without exception. We received feedback from schoolchildren, heard opinions on the company, – Kristina Pirogova summarized.

In the future it is planned to hold a career guidance forum in Gremyachinsk.
