Space for Dialogue

With the support of JSC Ruschem, Metafrax Chemicals became a partner of the conference “Gas and Chemistry 2025”. The conference and exhibition will be held on April 8-9, 2025 in St. Petersburg.

As part of the business program, heads and specialists of leading companies in the Russian oil and gas industry will discuss prospects for the development of the gas chemistry and refined products market, sales markets, production technologies and business optimization opportunities.

Representatives of Metafrax will actively participate in the conference. For example, Evgeny Gavrilov, Head of the Project Office for Strategy at Metafrax Chemicals, will hold a roundtable discussion "Methanol as Marine Fuel: Market Development Prospects." It will be attended by operators of marine and river logistics, manufacturers of methanol marine engines, scientists, analysts and representatives of specialized publishing houses.

Alexei Burakov, Director for ESG at JSC Metafrax Chemicals, will participate in the roundtable discussion "ESG vs EPS", where it’s planned to discuss the current context of the sustainable development agenda in Russia, implementation steps and mistakes in the implementation of sustainable development strategies for enterprises.

Among the relevant issues for discussion at the conference are the training of qualified personnel and staff training, the rejuvenation of production facilities, the creation of project teams, import substitution, the development of logistics infrastructure, water treatment and water purification in production.
