Metafrax Products are in the 100 Best Products of Russia
The A grade urea-formaldehyde concentrate (UFC) that is produced by Metafrax Chemicals has been acknowledged as the laureate of the nationwide 100 Best Products of Russia contest.
According to Anatoliy Demenev, Head of Perm Center of Standardization and Metrology (CSM), in the last year, the number of applications for the participation from Perm region companies was increased from 36 to 43 compared to 2020. According to the experts’ estimation, 16 titles of products and services of Kama area companies have accepted the title of laureate of the 100 Best Products of Russia program.
PJSC Metafrax Chemicals has been acknowledged as the contest winner within the Industrial and Technology Products nomination for their A grade urea-formaldehyde concentrate (UFC). Moreover, Anastasiya Sysyuk, Chemical Analysis Technician of the Formaline Plant Service Chemistry Laboratory, was acknowledged as the Quality Outstanding Worker according to the contest results.
Anatoliy Pushkaryov, Head of the company's Central Production Laboratory, received his well-deserved award from the company in the CSM, and Aleksandr Vdovin, Technical Director of the company, presented the badge of honour to Anastasiya Sysyuk.
In the past, Metafrax products were also the award-winners in the annual 100 Best Products of Russia contest.
UFC is used for production of synthetic resins that are used in the woodworking industry to produce plywood and chip boards, as well as an anticonsolidate additive for urea production. The first plant for this product was constructed at Metafrax in 2003. After that, several more plants were constructed which made the company one of the biggest UFC manufacturers in Russia.
