Practice of ESG Transformation of the business
A master class with elements of discussion called "On the path of ESG transformation of the business. The main stages and standards. E-component: calculation of the carbon footprint, the market of carbon units in the Russian Federation, the implementation of climate projects and the use of green electricity certificates" will be held on March 13 in Perm.
Participants will get acquainted with the practical aspects of ESG transformation of the business, skills in calculating the carbon footprint, registering climate projects, obtaining carbon units and operations with them, using green electricity certificates as part of their own decarbonization strategies.
The event will take place within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Metafrax Chemicals and the Perm Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The purpose of the joint work is to spread the best business practices, promote the principles of sustainable development and popularize the ESG agenda in the Perm Region and other regions of the country.
Armen Tadevosyan, Head of the Service for Interaction with government authorities and the media in the oil and gas sector, member of the Coordinating Committee of the Green Initiative project and the AEB Energy Committee, will act as an expert. The moderator is Yulia Ershova, an expert on sustainable development issues of JSC Metafrax Chemicals.
The venue is the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the address: 24B Sovetskaya str., Perm. The beginning is at 15:00. The format of participation is mixed (online and personal presence). Registration is required.
