Honor from the countrymen
Viktor Mayer, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Metafrax Chemicals had been awarded with the title of the honorary citizen of the municipal area of Gubakha.
Regalia were presented to the honorary citizens of the municipal area on the Day of the Town, 1st of June, on the site of “Sunset on Krestovya” Project. Not only Viktor Mayer was awarded in 2023 as the honored citizen of the municipal area, but also Yuriy Mende – Director of the Gremyachinsk Branch of JSC “ORES (Joint Regional Electrical Networks)-Prikamye”.
Viktor Viktorovich Mayer was born in 1954 in Gubakha, in the family of miners. Studied at the school No. 22, PTU (technical vocational school) No. 13, Perm Polythecnical Institute. He returned to Gubakha upon the end of the military service.
Starting from 1975, work history of Viktor Viktorovich have been connected with Gubakha Chemical Enterprise. He worked as an operator of preparation and release of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, as the Head of the Plant and Head of the Workshop. From 1986 to 1997 – the Head of the Production and Technical Department, in 1998 he was appointed Deputy Director General – Director of the Commercial Department, in 2004 – General Director First Deputy – Executive Director of the Enterprise. Currently he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Metafrax Chemicals company.
He is an “Honored chemist of the Russian Federation”.
