The first in the development of production

On December 20th, the award ceremony "The Prize of the First" was held, which was organized by the media holding "RBC Perm". Metafrax Chemicals received the award for innovation, responsibility, sustainable development and creation of modern chemical production in the nomination "The first in the development of production".

In the frames of the award, the RBC holding awarded for the first time the most successful representatives of the Prikamye business community and all those who make people's lives bright and interesting. "The Perm Region is full of people with amazing achievements who devote themselves entirely to their work," noted the organizers of the award.

Responsibility and sustainable development, for which Metafrax is awarded, are the basis of the holding's ESG policy. In 2022 significant qualitative changes took place in the implementation of the ESG initiatives of the Metafrax Group. At the beginning of the year by the decision of the Board of Directors, a working group was created, that engaged in the systematic implementation of ESG principles in the work of the holding companies based on the most successful cases and recommendations of experts. In September 2022 Metafrax published a report on sustainable development for 2021, which reflected the company's activities in the fields of ecology, industrial safety, labor protection, social policy and corporate governance. The presentation of an unique monobrand for the unified positioning of the holding's ESG initiatives took place at the Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum.
