JSC “Metafrax” was given the status of the authorized economic operator

The Federal customs authority of Russia assigned JSC "Metafrax" with the status of the authorized economic operator. So the company is the first in Perm region to have this status which enables the players in the international economic field to minimize considerably the possible expenses during customs clearance of goods. Today the total number of authorized operators in Russia make around 40 companies.

Now "Metafrax" may place its cargos on company site without necessity to store goods on the special temporary storages. Besides the authorized economic operator assumes possibility to unbond goods before filing the customs declaration, to make preliminary declaration and to work with incomplete declarations saving thus time and money.

- It's not easy to estimate the economic benefits of the status, however in future it amounts to hundreds thousands rubles per year. According to our estimations the costs covering the provision of payment of customs duties should be paid back within 2-3 months, - comments Andrey Riazanov head of the foreign relations department of "Metafrax".

The first deliveries of goods with the new status should go already in November.

The status of the authorized economic operator was approved by the Board of the company directors as one of the highest priorities for 2012. This should strengthen the company positions on the global commodities market.

Another priority was the status of the wholesale electrical power operator that was assigned to "Metafrax" late in August.
