Metafrax Chemicals has identified the winners of the competition for the best scientific and technical paper among the company's young specialists.
The final of the defense series was held on May 16 in the Metafrax assembly hall. The final stage of the competition brought together representatives of various divisions of the company: Alina Sadykova, lead specialist of the motivation and remuneration department, Daniil Dershkov, a mechanical engineer of the melamine plant, Dmitry Abudarov, an APCS engineer of the automation and metrology department, Gleb Zhdanov, an engineer of the logistics department, Dmitry Dolmatov, a melamine synthesis operator, Olga Markova, a metrology engineer of the automation and metrology department, and Sergei Galkin, a design engineer of the engineering department.
Before the final defense, the participants had the opportunity to finalize their projects, taking into account the comments of the expert commission. The work was evaluated by Albert Khudaibirdin, Managing Director for Production (chairman of the commission), Viktor Maier, Deputy Managing Director for Production, Andrei Yeremeyev, Technical Director, Konstantin Anufriev, Director for Organizational and HR policy, Andrei Davydov, Deputy Director for Commerce, and Nina Silveistrova, Deputy Head of the Planning and Economic Management (PEM) Department.
Based on the defense results, the jury identified the top three whose developments were notable for their practical significance and economic efficiency. The winner was Sergei Galkin, who presented a paper on the introduction of mobile photogrammetry into the work of a design engineer. The second place was taken by Alina Sadykova with the topic "Optimizing the business process of operational (local) payroll planning: creating an algorithm and methodology to improve the efficiency of the forecasting process." Dmitry Abudarov became the third. His paper was on the topic "Editing the DCS operator interface Honeywell ExperionPKS using a mass editing tool and Python language."
