TECHNICAL METHANOL IS ON THE LIST OF 100 BEST RUSSIAN PRODUCTS

100 BEST RUSSIAN PRODUCTS Federal Contest is now over.

Initiators of the 100 BEST RUSSIAN PRODUCTS Federal Contest with an 11 year history have formulated the priorities to focus on which are to upgrade the product quality and to polish the quality of the services, and to bring the products to the highest competitive edge.

And Perm Krai is on the top list again. In 2008 out of 98 products and services participating in the Contest and manufactured and furnished by 55 companies, 38 became award-winners and 52 were declared diploma-holders.

A year ago Perm Krai was the third in this Contest letting Tatarstan and Bashkiria take a lead. The end of January will show what place our producers will take in 2008, but right now it is clear that Prikamye is one of the five finalists.

2679 products represented by 1820 companies and organizations arrived from the Russia-wide to be a part to this program this year. There were five product and service nominations offered: foodstuff, industrial goods for the population, non-consumer goods, services, folks craft and artworks.

Technical methanol, a major product METAFRAX is a manufacturer of, was awarded with a non-consumer goods diploma.

- It has been several times our products gained recognition from 100 BEST RUSSIAN PRODUCTS, says Victor Meyer, executive director of METAFRAX. "And for sure, a victory in the federal contest is a recognition of the company in Russia.

It is desirable that the country's government should take reasonable and effective measures to support manufacturers in the tough environment of today for us to celebrate a triumph of the win in 2009. And this is the right way for a high-grade product to survive in the crisis condition. Large companies pay taxes to the regional budget wherefrom budget-dependant companies are financed.
