Metafrax is in the list of “Industrial Leader of Prikamye”

On 6 August in Perm there was held a traditional award ceremony to recognize the nominees of the annual regional contest "Industrial Leader of Prikamye". The representative of the local government and Legislative Assembly have announced the winners in 7 main nominations and 2 additional nominations.

Metfrax has been recognized in two nominations taking the 2nd position in the nomination "Chemical Industry, Coke Industry, Petroleum Production" and the 3rd position in the nomination "Efficient Social Partnership in the Company".

The contest "Industrial Leader of Prikamye" is held in the Perm region every year since 2003 to enhance companies' attraction for investors, to publicize their success and achievements and to encourage industrial companies. More than 40 applications from the most prosperous and stable companies have been submitted to the contest this year.

- In 2007 the Metafrax annual sales were over 7 billion rubles and this is 1 billion rubles more than in the previous year. It became a tendency to close every subsequent year with 1 billiard rub. surplus, - observes Rashid Shakirov, Deputy Director General for Personnel and Social Affairs. - As for the whole Metafrax Group of Companies consisting of 15 enterprisers the total commercial output reached the amount over 15 billiard rubles.

Along with the production achievements the company shows the growth of its social business. For example, Metafrax social expenditures in the last year were 120 mln. rubles, but this year the company budgets more than 160 mln. rubles for social benefits.
