Metafrax expands cooperation with the Higher School of Economics in Perm
Metafrax Chemicals and the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Perm (HSE – Perm) have signed an agreement on strategic partnership in educational activities.
The grand ceremony of signing the agreement took place as a part of the Metafrax conference of the legal department. The document was signed by Alexey Popovtsev, Deputy General Director for Legal and Corporate Affairs of Metafrax Chemicals JSC, and Galina Volodina, Director of the Perm Campus of the Higher School of Economics.
The document, in particular, provides for cooperation in the field of student, research, practical, project activities and personnel training. Under the agreement, it is planned to implement joint projects, conduct scientific research, prepare scientific reports, articles, textbooks, organize seminars, conferences, round tables and symposiums.
"This project is aimed primarily at students, gives them the opportunity to gain new knowledge and invaluable practical experience that will help them achieve high results in their studies and life in the future. For Metafrax lawyers, this project is an opportunity to develop mentoring skills. I know from my own experience how this helps me grow both as a human and as a professional," said Alexey Popovtsev. "Perm is now one of the key regions for Ruschem. There is a very strong team here, including lawyers. The Higher School of Economics shows high stable results in its activities, therefore, I am sure our partnership will be mutually beneficial. On behalf of Ruschem, the management organization of Metafrax, we really appreciate this initiative and hope that it will be implemented in the future not only in Perm, but also in other regions".
"We have many promising areas of joint activity, and not only to improve the quality of legal education, but also in other specialties in demand in the industry, including, for example, in the IT field. I am glad to build our strategic partnership with Metafrax and look forward to its further mutually beneficial expansion," Galina Volodina highlighted.
"I am glad that today at the Metafrax lawyers' conference we are presenting and officially launching this project together with the Perm campus of HSE. We have been contemplating ideas about the need to work with the younger generation of lawyers for a long time, and finally everything worked out," said Simon Vikhnin, Director of Legal Affairs at Metafrax Chemicals JSC.
"A joint project with HSE is a great motivation for us, lawyers. We have already started working with students, worked out a difficult practical task with them, and successfully conducted a master class. In the near future, we plan to organize an intellectual game on legal topics, summer practice and other practical events. It is interesting, informative and really very inspiring," said Yulia Zhukova, project manager from Metafrax, Chief Legal Adviser of the company's Judicial and Claims Department.
