"Metafrax" and "Bereginya" Foundation expand their cooperation

The "Bereginya" Charity Foundation, together with "Metafrax Chemicals" PJSC are launching a career guidance project titled "I am creating the future" for children struggling with oncological diseases.

As part of the "I am creating the future" project, each of its participants will go from the desire to try themselves in a particular profession, to the creation and presentation of their own project on the chosen topic. Currently, the recruitment of project participants is actively underway. In total, 30 ambitious teenagers will take part in the project and their training will be completed in the fall of 2022.

The main goal of the project is to help children with oncological diseases make responsible choices, try on a particular profession, so that they may find themselves in it later on and make it a life's work. For 9 weeks, the project participants will be accompanied by professional tutors who will help them find the right direction. Children who have been treated for oncological diseases or are undergoing treatment right now have their own specific characteristics. The tutor will help each and every one by analyzing and considering individual opportunities.

The intermediate result of successful project participation will be the "Business Start" conference, where the children will meet with professionals of those fields that they choose to study themselves. In the final stage of the project, teenagers will defend and present projects that they have been creating for almost a year.

The idea to launch the project was created and turned into reality thanks to Dinara Chashcukhina, head of rehabilitation programs at the "Bereginya" Charity Foundation, and the "Metafrax Chemicals" team, who supported the project.
