The main thing is to believe in yourself!

More than 40 young athletes from 12 districts of the Perm Region took part in the regional stage of the "Winners' Games".

Competitions for children who have been treated for cancer were held in Perm on October 26. The project is implemented by the "Bereginya" Charity Fund, the general partner is Metafrax Chemicals, JSC. Konstantin Anufriev, Director for Organizational and HR policy of the enterprise, congratulated the young athletes and their parents who gathered at the V.P. Sukharev's sports Complex on the sports holiday.

- All participants of today's competitions are already winners. But each of them needs the support of others in order to regain faith in themselves and their strength, not to stop there, but on the contrary – to discover new achievements and horizons, - said Konstantin Anufriev, - Charity is an integral part of the social policy of Metafrax Chemicals. With the support of our management company, Ruschem Holding, I am sure we will continue the successful development of this important area of work.

The competitions were held in 6 disciplines: sports running, speed walking, target shooting, boccia, table tennis and mini football. Professional judges worked on the sport venue, and creative workshop sessions were additionally organized for young participants of the Games.

At the closing ceremony, medals and diplomas were traditionally presented to children by real athletes. This year, they were the players of the "Permskiye Medvedi" handball club, of the "Vityaz" women's rugby club and defender ofthe "Amkar" footbal club,Alexander Stepanov. The winners of the competition received 132 medals for their efforts.
