Members of the regional Legislative Assembly visited the production site of JSC Metafrax Chemicals with a guided tour
The visit took place within the framework of the external meeting of the regional parliament's committee on social policy. One of the key issues of the meeting was the training of professional personnel. The speakers highly appreciated the experience of Metafrax.
Aleksandr Vdovin, Executive Director of the company, told the legislators about the company’s history, its products, social and personnel policy. The delegates visited a laboratory of the new Ammonia-Urea-Melamine complex, the central control room, from where operators control the production and technological processes at all three plants thanks to an automated system.
Andrei Yeremeyev, Deputy Director of the AUM complex, emphasized communicating with the guests that the complex staff is quite young. Students of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC) undergo industrial practice here, and after graduation they come back as professional workers. Moreover, the UCTC training programs are prepared considering the needs, including the AUM complex.
The delegates highly appreciated the experience of system partnership between Metafrax and the UCTC. "Using the example of Gubakha, we saw how the interaction of an educational institution and an enterprise, for which specialists are trained, is implemented in practice. This experience should be spread across our region," noted representatives of the regional parliament's committee on social policy.
As part of the external meeting, the parliamentarians also visited the Ural Chemical Technology College and the Ural Medical College.
