Professional Pride Day

The Metafrax team celebrated Chemist's Day by honoring the best employees and awarding the corporate Man of the Year award. The gala evening was held on May 24 at the Energetik Palace of Culture and gathered guests, employees and veterans of the company.

Before the start of the celebration, everyone could record a video greeting for colleagues and take a picture in an unusual mirror photo zone. On stage this evening, modern digital technologies were also involved: the neural network surprised with its capabilities to animate and generate photos, and the artificial intelligence Inetta even tried to compete with the presenter Alexander Merkuryev.

Traditionally, the evening began with congratulations. Albert Khudaibirdin, Managing Director for Production at JSC Metafrax Chemicals, gave them a confident start:

We’re glad that our industry is developing and even in today's difficult situation is trying to be as useful as possible for the country and for the regions. Our chemical complex is a pillar of the state and a footstep for many other industries that use our products as raw materials. I sincerely thank the veterans who have made a huge contribution to the creation and development of the enterprise. Thanks to the entire staff of Metafrax for their hard work and commitment to the profession. I wish you all good health, dauntless optimism, and welfare. Albert Khudaibirdin presented significant awards: the title of "Honorary Chemist" to Andrei Porollo, Chief process engineer of the formalin plant, and Andrei Davydov, Commercial Director of the company, and Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to Andrei Yeremeyev, Technical Director, and Igor Chukreyev, Head of the transport department.

Pavel Yakushenok, Deputy Executive Director of the company, spoke about innovation, increasing production efficiency, and a strong and professional team of Metafrax. He presented high awards: the title of "Honored Chemist of the Russian Federation" to Alexander Kozyrev, compressor operator of the methanol production, and Radik Timershin, synthesis operator of the formalin plant.

Alexander Borisov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Perm Territory, congratulated the company's employees on their professional holiday. He presented letters of gratitude from the Governor of the Kama region to the following people: Anna Borisenko, lead process engineer at the pre-production bureau of the power supply workshop, Natalia Borisova, Deputy Managing Director for Finance and Economics, Sergei Grishkin, shift supervisor of the methanol production, Dmitry Zlobin, operator of the formalin plant, Dmitry Krasovsky, Chief Instrumentation specialist at the AUM complex, Andrei Chernykh, fitter of railway transport preparation and repair workshop, and Andrei Shevchenko, Head of the steam and gas workshop.

The Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Perm Territory was awarded to Vladimir Boronin, Chief power engineer of the methanol production, Yuri Gagarin, operator of polyorganic and polyatomic alcohols production, Dmitry Zinsky, Head of the services and transportation workshop, Alexander Kozlov, section head of the formalin plant, Evgeny Umansky, lead section engineer of the methanol production, Olga Khramova, laboratory technician of the methanol production, and Yuri Chayuk, station head of the railway workshop.

The ceremony was continued by corporate awards presented by Vladimir Daut, Advisor to the Managing Director for Production. This year, the Golden book of specialists contains the names of employees who have worked at the company for 40 years or more. These are Alexander Kozyrev, compressor operator of the methanol production, Anatoly Saperov, operator of the methanol production, Irina Spiridonova, operator of the polyorganic and polyatomic alcohols production, Alexander Nazarov, operator of the formalin plant, Yuri Porokhin, lathe operator of the workshop for maintenance and repair of equipment in process workshops (POROTS), Natalia Marinyuk, engineer of POROTS, Sergei Mekhanoshin and Viktor Rychkov, fitters of POROTS, Vladimir Mikheyev, operator of water supply and disposal workshop, Nikolai Khoromansky, electrician of the power supply workshop, Elena Ashchepkova, laboratory assistant of the Central Production laboratory, Yuri Matyukhin, gas rescuer, Alexander Martyashev, preproduction operator of the AUM complex and veterans of the enterprise: Marina Obolenskaya and Nadezhda Abdullina.

The names of Viktor Vaganov, operator of the methanol production, and Elena Shchepina, lead process engineer of the Process Technology department, are listed in the company's Book of Honor.The title "Honorary Veteran of Labor at JSC Metafrax Chemicals" was awarded to Sergei Korepanov and Viktor Feshchenko, fitters of POROTS, Oleg Vakhrushev, Chief Mechanical engineer of the methanol production, Alexander Kuzovlev, lead engineer of the Technical Diagnostics Center, and Alexander Parshakov, shift supervisor of the power supply workshop.

The official part ended with congratulations from Maria Konovalova, member of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, Director of Strategic Communications at JSC Metafrax Chemicals, and Nikolai Lazeikin, Head of Gubakha municipal district. According to the tradition, Alexander Andronov performed the company’s anthem.

Then the corporate Man of the Year award ceremony took place. It’s always a bright and unpredictable event of a professional holiday, which is awaited with excitement by both the nominees and all other employees of the company.

Traditionally, the winners were named in 11 nominations, and the updated statuettes went into the hands of their owners. Denis Konovalov, conversion operator of the methanol production, became the winner in the nomination "Professional process engineer of the main production", and Alexander Zotev, operator of the steam and gas workshop, became the winner in the nomination "Professional process engineer of the auxiliary production".

Igor Sibilev, arc welder of POROTS, was recognized as the leader in the nomination "An example of craftsmanship: fitters". The statuette in the nomination "An example of craftsmanship: electricians" went to Yekaterina Rakovits, electrician of the power supply workshop. Artyom Khametgaleyev, fitter of the workshop for maintenance and repair of automated control systems (TSORASU) won in the nomination "An example of skill: Instrument specialists". Sergei Ivanov, inspector and repairman of the railway transport preparation and repair workshop, was recognized as a "Professional in his field".

In the "Strong Link" nomination, the winning statuette was received by Alexei Zabaev, section head of POROTS. Denis Artamonov, Head of the railway transport preparation and repair workshop, became the "Manager of the Year". Alexander Trubinov, mechanical engineer of the ammonia plant, was named the best in the most numerous nomination "Valuable Employee". Lyubov Gureyeva, Head of the analytical laboratory at the AUM complex, was recognized as the winner in the nomination "Unlimited Resource". The winner in the nomination "Hope of the Year" was Yegor Zhukov, lead heat engineer of the methanol production.

A virtuoso violinist Dmitry Dokudin and the Gromovshow dance project delighted chemists with their creative congratulations during the evening. The holiday ended with a concert by the "Elcapitan!" cover band (Perm).
